Wiesław Wilk urodził się w 1954 roku na Pomorzu,całe życie spędził mieszkając nad wodą.Raz było to jezioro,innym razem morze.Od najmłodszych lat interesował się żeglarstwem,W wieku 11 lat wygrał swoje pierwsze regaty.Wojsko odsłużył w niebieskim berecie polskich "marines".Wiele lat przepracował w stoczni w Gdańsku,oraz jako szkutnik w zakładzie budowy jachtów.Maluje od bardzo dawna.Tematem jego prac najczęściej są żaglowce na pełnym morzu.Malarstwo to jego druga pasja.Jest malarskim samoukiem zakochanym w wodzie.Obrazy swoje wystawiał min.w Koszalinie,Monachium,Rydze.Był wielokrotnym uczestnikiem plenerów marynistycznych w Trzebieży.Aktualnie mieszka w Szczecinku na Pomorzu,a w wolnych chwilach żegluje na swoim "Świetliku"

Wieslaw Wilk was born in 1954 in the Pomerania region. He has spent all of his life near the water - sometimes the lake, sometimes the sea.Since the childhood he was interested in sailing. When he was 11 he won in regatta for the first time.He served in the army in the blue beret of the Polish marines.He worked many years in the shipyard in Gdansk, he was also employed as the boat constructer at a yacht builiding company.He has been painting since a long time. The main theme of his paintings are the sailing boats at sea. Painting is his second passion.He is a self-taught painter who is in love with the water. His works were presented in Koszalin, Munich, Riga and many other locations. He used to take part in the open-air sea-related exhibitions in Trzebieza.At present he lives in Szczecinek in the North of Poland. In the free time he is sailing in his "Glow-worm"...
